Chris North
Chris North is a Radio Broadcaster and Stand Up Comedian from Sydney.
He left a 7 year career at a leading Investment Bank, scraped a living as a telemarketer, a check-out chick, and nightclub DJ, to
realise his true calling as a communicator offering the greater Australian public access to stuff best served in the media: putting
intelligent conversation between the ads, and great music amid the chat. It also meant he could make use of his other great talent,
as a comedian.
In his 11th year of Commercial Broadcasting, he brings a wealth of knowledge and
experience in all fields of Radio and Television.
In presentation, programming, audio production recording and editing, feature script
writing and content production, he has worked at a Metro radio station standard
since 2006.
As a Comedian, Chris is a regular MC and support feature on the Stand Up Circuit.
He first came to light as the National Runner-Up of ‘Raw Comedy’ in 2003. He’s
written for a number of TV and Radio programs. In
2010 and 2011 he performed sold out shows with the
Melbourne International Comedy Festival. His
expressions tell the jokes just as well as his stories.
He’s engaging and relatable.
